- Retired from NSTAR Electric Co. Jan/08. I'm very sad about the grounding of my AMD 650 I purchased new in Sept. 08. I recently had cancer surgery in Boston and I'm on the mend. Now I have to get into the "fix" for my airplane. From what I've read, this is not the time to purchase the drawings because AMD and/or Zenith might have changes to them after they complete their own repairs on aircraft in their shops. If it is the time, I will buy them. I'm lucky to have one of the best AP's around at my airport (TAN). The problem I'm having now is money. From looking at your website, the drilling and removing of rivits and the wing skins seems very labor intensive. Do you think an average guy like me would be able to do this work in my hangar and then turn it over to my AP? Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
