Work on my project stopped a couple years ago when my wife broke her back, After  much moving around from rehab to rehab she's finally improved to the point I can get some things done. The starboard wing is about ready to cover. That said we live on the Blue Mesa in southwest Co. at 9250 feet so going to be interesting to see how this bird handles at that altitude on takeoff.

My engine is a Suzuki 1.3 liter metro engine out of a year 2000 metro with 22k miles on it, planning on a an Air Trikes 2.5 re-drive and a turbo, using the Suzy's engine controller.  I like the fuel injection and most of all the smoothness on the test stand. always starts instantly even at 9k feet. Fuel pump is an in-the-tank model as used in Mitsu Montero's.

I'm a member of EAA chapter 1373 in Delta CO. but I don't expect them to be much help as they are 80 miles away and most seem to be Vans Can builders. But we'll see.

Getting ready to leave CO for the winter(snow don'tcha know), and roads are not maintained in the Rockies.
