The nearly completed 601XL, canopy and frame, with a new in the box Jabiru 3300A, Sensenich 2 blade ground adjustable prop and upgrade kit (not installed) is available for $27,500 OBO. He has had it up for sale for a while now, so he would probably let it go for less. As I said before, the workmanship is excellent, most of the panel and instruments are already there, the motor mount for the Jabiru is attached to the firewall. The upgrade kit is included, but has not been installed. The work involved in installing the upgrade is substantial, as you probably already know. I forgot to ask him, but I believe that the cowling is also included. Give me a call at 498-6903

My name is Dennis Hutchinson and I live in Greenfield, IN. My partner Leroy Wheeler and I built a CH601HD, which is now based at Mount Comfort. The fellow in the hangar next to ours has a 601XL for sale. It was purchased by his father, who had Parkinson's. He was trying to finish before he reached the point of being unable to fly it. Sadly, he did not achieve that goal. It is one of the earlier 601XL kits, is substantially completed, except for the upgrade, and the workmanship is excellent. If I had the money, I would buy it myself, but I have 2 kids in college (ouch!). I think that he may also have the Jabiru 3300A that his father purchased available with it.
