Nice to have another 701 builder out there that is early in the process. I got my kit on 19 Jan (after ordering in Oct.). I did the rudder at a Zenith Workshop in early Oct. so I started on the Horiz. Stab. I just got in from my garage/workshop after completing the skinning process (a real bear). Tomorrow I will drill out for A4 rivets, de-burr, and rivet to complete the stab, I hope to start on the elevator in the afternoon.
I purchased the folding wing option and am adding the no-fuselage-slot flaps mod from the 801 builders, and the Viking steel bungee (which I received yesterday). I also ordered a Viking engine (earliest delivery .. .late August).
