hi Robert,
Sorry the airplane has already sold, and i have changed the add. Not sure how to remove the add.
But before I would build an 801, I would search on Barnstormers for one that has been completed and for sale. It does seem like like some low time 801's are for sale. We wanted our for amphib float operation and it did not perform well enough for that. With the amphib floats mounted we were down to about 65 mph, on wheels we were at about 95mph, that was the best we ever got. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
