Zenith Aircraft's Sebastien Heintz and his son Calvin embark on a road trip South to Florida from the Missouri factory in their cargo van. They loaded the van with Zenith aircraft kits which they delivered to customers along the way, making their way to Lakeland, Florida, to host a Zenith hands-on workshop class and for the Sun 'n Fun Holiday Fly-In Festival and National STOL competition (in early December 2021), coming up in Part Two of this video.

Normally, Zenith aircraft kits are crated and shipped by common carrier (truck) for the Zenith factory in Mexico, Missouri to the customer's home. A typical full kit will be crated in one box, 14-ft L x 4-ft W x 3.5-ft H, weighing approx. 1,000 lbs. (including the wood crate). Alternatively, customers can pick up their kit at the factory, either uncrated or crated (in the big wood box), and haul the kit back themselves. Note that component kits (or smaller section kits) can also be ordered and shipped (or picked up). Of course, individual parts can also be ordered and shipped.

With the Zenith cargo van, the kit is not crated but hand packed on the shelves inside the van (smaller parts are boxed together and larger parts are wrapped in paper for protection). At the customer's home, the parts are unloaded by hand.
