Yes, Stu, I was cooling my hand on the air vent. I didn't realize I was doing this either until I saw the video. I think part of it was enjoying the warmer Florida air...
Tim, each way is 1,000+ miles and we stayed together most of the way (I throttled way back!), averaging about 100 mph. On the way down we were stuck in Union City (KUCY) a couple of nights due to weather, and again one night near Birmingham (KEET). On the way back we had headwinds the entire way, so we spent the night outside of Huntsville (KDCU).
he is probably drying his sweaty palm in front of the airvent.. I used to do that every time I did an instrument approach some 40 years ago as a new instrument pilot. Didn't realize I was doing it until one of my passengers picked up on it.
Why is he moving his left hand several time UP and Down overhead the airfield ???
Who picks the background music for these? Heard of Randy Travis or Tanya Tucker?
So flat out there. Where are the mountains and gravel bars?!?
Gotta love the bubble canopy !!
