Hi Sebastien:
Like you I always preferred a simple one colour paint scheme. Brian
What program do people use with these schematics to create the great looking renderings?
Tom
Step 1 ~ Print out about 30 or 50 ( E-mail it to your local corner copy shop for printing to save $ ).
Step 2 ~ Get multi colored Sharpies (Or equivelent) ,in as many different colors as you can.A Protractor and a ruler.
Step 3 ~ Sit down with that 'Artistic' Guy you Know.. The guy at work, the guy that did the painting of your Boss's Pet Iguana to Kiss ass.. Or the guy you always hang out with That has been The Coen Brothers Story-Board Artist on Every one of their movies Since ' Blood Simple' and is In the movie 'FARGO' , Credited as the 'Prince' sign laid Sideways, But it really your friend,, That Guy .. Or your Artistic Niece.. One of those people.
Step 4 ~ Bring Beer. um ... if your Niece is 21 or older. <--- (afterthought)
Step 5 ~ Talk to the Artist about what you like, while they Create, for you, a 'Donatello S-T-O-L-ello' !
Step 6 ~ Take the one(s) you like to a paint Shop. Get estimate of cost.
Yes, I can understand the colored pencil concept. What I wonder is how do people create the schematics like these.
YEA my method , posted here was to Circumvent the need to know PHOTOSHOP , Adobe In Design, or any Software from Adobe Creative Suite !! BUT ... once you have the desing concept down on paper,, If you Know Photoshop at all .. IT's Remarkably E-Z to produce PDF (Portable Document Format) files of the Designs BUT you'll need a little training in Photoshop ( my Brother is a fairly Famous Graphic Artist and taught me PhotoShop a long time ago.... ) Ther are alot of classes available for Photoshop and Adobe CS at Local Community Colleges.. Check it out and I'm56 I love using Photoshop..
mmmm Layers !!!!
