I would have to say that with the recent price reductions, Garmin is the way to go. If you want to go with an EFIS, the G3X is now priced at $4375 and has an integrated autopilot like the Dynon. And at $750, Garmin servos are priced the same as Dynon's. Regarding the wing leveler: I just asked the G3Xpert about that today. Here was his response:
I haven’t seen a 750 servo installation, but we use a standard mounting hole pattern to other popular autopilot servos, and I am sure some of those have been installed in the CH-750.
I flew for years with a roll only autopilot, but I sure like the dual axis. Since you are going to want to fly coupled LPV and LNAV+V approaches, you might consider installing a pitch servo too. Additionally, when flying cross country and using flight following, it is sure nice to not have to worry about holding the agreed upon altitude."
Also looking for the same info with Dynon components....Zenith has it on their demo 750 so it has been done.
