It's carbon fiber look sheet that I got from a friend. who built a 701. The camera flash makes it stand out more than it really does but it does make the panel look pretty nice. I put it on with contact cement just like you would a formica countertop. If your interested I can find where he got it.

Pics of my hinged instrument panel for easy access. 5 10-32 allen screws hold the .050 aluminum sheet with piano hinge at bottom. Original panel has holes cut out and reinforced behind with L channel. 64 flight hours since middle March. Flies like a dream!
