Ful throttle results in about 3200rpm in level flight, I'm cruising at about 2900 rpm, and burning 6-7gph at that rate. If throttled back to 2750 rpm, it burns about 6, but I don't get there as fast!
Wow! That "flew" by very fast. Happy to hear your Corvair is running smoothly. About how many gallons per hour are you averaging? And are you running it hard for break in, or more of a cruise setting?
