Very nice plane, any chance you'd be willing to share some tips with a fellow builder? It looks like you have done at least some of the mods I intend to do. I'm in the early stages of my build, 701 from a kit w/tundra tires & bubble doors. Right now it looks like I will probably power it with a Continental A65 turned up to 75 or 80. I want to extend the wings, delete the slats, use VG's, stop the oil canning, and do the beanie mod, standard or full ala Bob Stuart. (pics on StolSpeed site)
I'd especially like guidance on extending the wing and how to attach the spar extensions. How to reinforce, etc. I'm a pretty fair mechanic but no engineer. I probably won't extend the flaperons. Others seem to think roll authority is quite adequate already. Any other comments and/or advice very much appreciated and taken seriously.
