Im planning to wait with the cutting/mounting of the 2angles under the steering rods. They state that it is critical to get the upper and lower parts, Both of them to stop the front gearleg simultanious. But when the firewall is not mounted to the bottomfloor in the forward fuselage,,,the whole bearing/stopper is hinged only on the steel-firewall (flexing a lot)!!

Have anyone experiensed the same, or should i just finish it, and maybe just bend the plate afterwards?

I think i have seen a picture, where someone was mounting teflon under the steeringrods-attachments (to prevent the steel sliding on the aluminium)

Anyone with a tip?

I took these pictures when I reworked on the firewall. I hope they are worth a look or two.

Thanks, its clearer to me now!
When i was trialmounting the plastic, the aluminum (hole) allso "rubbed" the nosegear!, I am grinding the hole on the aluminum bigger!!!
