Nicopress inspection
Did some destructive investigating to see how well the swaged nicopress compressed the wire cables. I suspect a load test to failure would be more definitive, but I was curious...

If done correctly the cable will fail before the fitting. The breaking strength for 1/8 inch cable is 2000lbs so you will need a hefty test rig.
