It's time to move on. I've spent three enjoyable years meticulously fabricating this project from scratch but have now reached the point where I will have to purchase the remaining parts. Since my interest is primarily the building I've decided to sell the partially completed project to someone whose interest is primarily getting onto the air as soon as possible. The wings, flaperons, horizontal stabilizer and rudder are finished (except for tanks and tips on the wings). The fuselage is 80% complete (ready for final assembly of the forward and rear sections after purchase of the last parts from ZAC). I have hundreds of photos and the complete set of plans to provide. If interested in further details contact me at wmjnewman@hotmail.com.  Bill Newman

Hi Joseph,

I'm asking $7,000 for everything I have completed. That includes all assemblies, many other parts, plans, form blocks, etc. To complete the fuselage will require another about $2,000 purchase from ZAC (extruded longerons, steel firewall parts, weldments, cabin "cage", and a few channels which are beyond the capacity of my brake). Of course you may be able to fab some or all of those yourself.

The equivalent kit cost would have been about $14,000 ($7,000 wings, $1,500 tail, and $5,500 fuselage).

There's probably SOME room for negotiation in my asking price.

Thanks for your inquiry.

Bill

Hello, what would you think the cost would be to finish without engine? I would love to see some pictures of what you have finished. Where is this located? Please reply to skyboy41@hotmail.com. Thanks, Richard.

Located in Granbury, TX, southwest of the Dallas / Fort Worth area.

Some photos.

CHANGE IN LISTING

There has been more interest expressed in the completed wings and tail than in the fuselage parts, so I am changing the listing to accommodate that interest:

     + Completed CH750 Cruzer wings and tail - $4,900

+ Partially completed CH750 Cruzer fuselage (request a list of completed parts if interested) - $1,600

See photos above.

Hello William,

Is your Project still available?  I'd likely be interested in the whole lot.  I am located in Burbank CA so my guess it would need to be shipped vie a freight carrier.

Did you scratch build everything?  Spars?  DO you foresee any issues with buying zenith manufactured parts and getting them to fit on a scratch built airframe?  Ie every airframe is usually little bit different.  I would also be interested in a list of whats remaining to be fabricated on the Fuselage.  I have access to equipment at my EAA chapter and we just finished a club scratch build that I am too tall to ever fly in.

Best regards,

Marc Webster

I might be interested in the fuselage. I see Marc might have beat me to it, but if he does not take it I would be interested in getting more info.

Thanks, Greg. I'll keep you advised.

Greg,

Marc has some research to do before he decides. He ,like others, must consider the problem of transporting the project several hundred miles. That is one reason I decided to separate the fuselage from the other assemblies in the offer. I have intentionally not assembled all the fuselage parts because that assembly would be REALLY difficult to transport. As it is now the fuselage parts can probably be transported in the family SUV ... certainly in a minivan. I'll keep you advised.

Bill

Thanks. I would also have to arrange some logistics. I am stationed in CA through next summer but I have some family in TX and could probably work near term transportation and storage there.

Greg,

In case Marc does not purchase the fuselage parts, approximately where is your family located in TX? I may be able to deliver the fuselage parts to that location. (I'm ready to start another project and need to make space. The wings and tail feathers don't take a lot of storage space, so I can retain them indefinitely, but the fuselage parts have consumed my work table.)
