I have an MA3 carb I'm using on my 0-235 engine. It appears to me that on the fuel inlet fitting there should be a special gasket/seal or something where the fitting screws into the carb body. Can anybody tell me what I need here?

Thanks

this is the fitting, fuel in

There is a gasket between the fitting with the inlet finger screen and carb body but where your fuel supply hose goes into the carb fitting no gasket.

You can probably get one from aircraft spruce but you will need a parts list for your particular model to be sure. Most are a 16-A36 but depends on the part number of the carb (on the stamped plate at the front of the carb).
