Kids on the Rise

I'm in a mentoring program called "Kids on the Rise" that helps underprivileged kids, especially those with little or poor family social structure. Yesterday, I took my mentee, Hunter, for his first airplane ride - ever! He is not lacking in confidence, however, after about 3 minutes of holding the stick, he said, "I think I'm getting the hang of this!"

I think you can see that I enjoyed this experience as much as Hunter!
