I also have progressive lenses. I went up this morning, bright sunshine,  bit cold, and I had my new IFLY 740B right in front of me, and I couldn't see it clearly. Tomorrow I will bring my old reading glasses and try them .It has to be my glasses

What is the final verdict for you? which screen do you prefer?

I have several hours using my ipad mini and my 740b. I use both of them .I have a windshield suction cup mount I use for my ipad with a bad elf gps right in front of me which I primarily use, and only use the I ifly 740b as  a backup. Love both of them, but one could easily get by with just the ipad min with the bad elf gps. with the ifly downloads,  but I just feel better having both in the plane
