Just purchased 50 1/8” Clecos that were advertised as new old stock. Well most of them have rust on them. Not too bad but I am wondering if they are ok to use? Or if I clean them with a liquid cleaner and wipe them down good if there are any recommendations on a cleaner that will not harm the 6061?

If any are too rusty you could try soaking them in evaporust, rinse off with water, blow dry with compressed air and maybe spray down with wd40.
