MGL RDAC on the firewall side.

I gave that some thought and I know that most of them are mounted on the firewall side. I thought about a full enclosure, but decided against that for two reasons. It would be much more difficult to route the wiring and keep it properly sealed and if any moisture did get into my enclosure it would be held in there possibly causing more damage. In the end I have decided to seal the edges and around the DB9 connector with silicone and then fabricate a clear plastic cover to go between the terminal strips and covering all of the switches.
That is my plan for the moment. I look forward to seeing what you decide. If I have the opportunity I will ask some the MGL users today at the Zenith event.
John, just received my MGL kit. Instructions say not to mount on the firewall? Best spot for it though and one of the selling points. Are you going to enclose it somehow to protect it from moisture etc. thanks
