- 2/17/21 UPDATE: Rescheduled due to Winter Weather in Texas! The hands-on workshop (which is at capacity) has been rescheduled to February 25 & 26. Zenith builders, flyers and enthusiasts are invited to come by for the informal regional Zenith fly-in on Friday, February 26, at the Hondo airport.
Zenith Aircraft Company is going to southwestern Texas to host its popular hands-on kit aircraft building workshop. The two-day workshop will be held February 25 & 26, 2021, with an informal regional Zenith fly-in on Friday, at the South Texas Regional Airport (KHDO), Hondo, Texas, about 45 miles west of San Antonio.
Zenith Aircraft Company's hands-on workshops have become popular with sport aviation enthusiasts, giving them the opportunity to gain valuable kit aircraft building experience in assembling their own Zenith Aircraft kit plane. Participants get the opportunity to actually start assembling kit parts under the direction and guidance of factory professionals.
Participants "graduate" from the workshop upon completing construction of their own aircraft rudder tail section for one of Zenith Aircraft Company's popular kit aircraft designs, including the popular new Zenith CH 750 series or the sleek CH 650 cruiser.
