Leveling your plane
Hi Guys,
To level a CH750STOL you put your level on the cabin frame above the doors correct? My prop flange was pointing down a few degrees to much, so I'm thinking my engine mount needs to be shimmed. Then I realized me plane was not level. The only mention on the Zenith CD about leveling the plane is when you are mounting the wings. So, when installing your engine shouldn't you level your plane also? I wanted someone to assure me I've correctly leveled my plane.

It does not need to be level, it just helps a bit to have it roughly level. You could in theory build it on the side of a hill. Just take zero or a reference from the cage (datum) and work from that. so if the cage is 26 degrees up then mount the engine 26 degrees up to give zero thrust line in relation to datum and adjust to what you want. 24 if you want 2 downthrust.
