Online Community of Zenith Builders and Flyers
Hi. Has anyone had experience with fitting large tires to their 801? I want to fit 26' to the nose and 29' to the mains. My engineer is asking for an example of it being done previously. I can find examples of 701s and 750s fitted with large tires, but not the 801. Has anyone seen an 801 with tundra tires fitted? Any assistance much appreciated. Thanks.

Give me a couple of weeks and I'll post some images of mine. I have the tyres and my engineer is busy fabricating new front strut and main gear leg right now.
Any update on this?

I've ordered tundra tires with my 801 kit. When it comes in I will be happy to measure / photograph for you. TBH, I'm not entirely sure of the size right at the moment. I know the mains will be larger than standard, but I'm currently under the impression that the nose wheel will remain the same as standard (otherwise the fork won't accommodate it). ~ Doug
