Adhesive residue on bubble doors

I know solvents can destroy poly acrylics, so treading carefully. 

Do we know what the bubble doors’ composition is and/or what solvent may be used to remove adhesive residue after the protective paper is removed? The left window paper separated just fine, both inner and outer. The right door, however, has about 1/3 of the outer surface quite heavily coated with adhesive. Inner surface is clean.

I used goo-gone when I did mine.  Worked pretty well, and created no problems.

For the adhesive residue only (no stuck paper on mine) I had good luck with Clear View Plastic polish.  It took several applications and some work, but it is almost guaranteed to clean without damage.  It was especially good for the little smears and dabs of glue left behind

just guessing but 50 years ago in army we used Aliphatic naphtha,  useful in your zippo ,too. but man it will burn your crotch if lighter overfilled!

They're acrylic. You can use aliphatic naphtha, but DON'T use aromatic naphtha. You can also use a MIL-C-22543A water emulsion compound.

I ended up using Goo Gone. Worked great!
