Rudder Cable Angle Through Fairlead
I have a 701, the angle the rudder cable makes through the plastic fairlead is pretty large, wondering if that is as designed? Will it ever saw through the plastic?
I was considering putting in a horizontal pully.

If your fairlead thru the fuselage is in the right place back at the rudder and your cables aren't switched at the rear (right to right left to left) then yes that angle is fine. these cable should never see high enough tension to saw thru the nylon fairlead. the rudder itself is feather light easy to turn. All the tension is in turning your front wheel while on the ground.

Hi Shaun,
If your rigging is correct, it seems to be begging for a pulley. I will be checking this angle out on my plane.
I just accepted the plans as they were and pulled the cables late in construction.
