Online Community of Zenith Builders and Flyers
Hi,
are there any builders/owners in the Austin TX area willing to let me
sit in their ch750 aircraft to see if i can fit?
I am 6'4" with pant inseam of 36".
I sat in a ch750 STOL at the Boerne TX rudder workshop a few weeks,
but the fit experience left me questioning if I should proceed with the
750. It was not clear what its seat setting was.
I need to get past this issue before becoming serious about the build.
I must add that the rudder workshop was nicely done
and all of the people were both friendly and helpful.
thank you so much,
pat jorden

was the one you sat in a "bubble" roof or a flat one
it was the one shown in the photo below. it had bubble doors i think.
I’m similarly sized, building a 750 Cruzer and have made some “tall guy” modifications to it. Rudder pedals a bit forward, piano hinged seat modification, with structure to allow further aft positions than standard (and I plan on doing additional weight and balance measurements with me in the aircraft). If you’re planning on building a Super Duty this would possibly eliminate the usability of the back seat.
I’m just southwest of Fort Worth if you’re in the area and want to try it on for size.
