SUMMARY:Precision flight record set in the STOL CH 701
DESCRIPTION:Last weekend, on September 7 and 8, the nationwide meeting
  of UL 2024 pilots took place at the Łomża Jeziorko landing site in 
 Poland. After the conference part, in the afternoon it was time for pr
 actical aviation activity. A gate was prepared at the landing site and
  anyone willing could demonstrate their piloting skills. The pilot's t
 ask was to fly through the gate marked out by foil tapes raised on pol
 es and not to break any of the tapes.  The culmination of this event w
 as a record attempt undertaken by Michał Tworakowski. The pilot asked
  for a gate 8 m wide to fly through it without breaking the tapes on h
 is CH701 STOL with a wingspan of 8.23 m. Michał is a great pilot with
  a lot of experience and he had attempted a similar attempt before, bu
 t then without success. This time, after training, amidst the applause
  of his colleagues and spectators cheering him on, the attempt was a c
 omplete success.  Michał's record result is undoubtedly a feat on a w
