Dynon remote magnetometer installed in upper skin directly behind aft baggage wall. Used all aluminum Huck rivets for installation to avoid errant fluxes.
Steven this looks like a great location for this unit the only thing I notice is that the unit appears to be upside down. The install instruction on page 4-1 says that the mounting tabs should be on the down side and it appears to be mounted with tabs up. If it works in that position please post a let us know.
This image is taken from the bottom looking up behind the aft baggage wall. The magnetometer is mounted (upright) in a flanged channel that I fabricated to match the pitch angle of the instrument panel (per Dynon instructions). I also added the lateral "L" angle stiffener in the top skin to stabilize the installation.
