In Search of a Sport Pilot DPE
Hi All,
I purchased a built CH750 STOL last fall and have been receiving instruction since then. After some crappy PNW weather (Spokane WA) I'm pretty much ready for my sport check ride with about 50 hours dual/solo time now. We have a few DPE's in the area. Though slow to respond, I've heard back from all of them finally. Several don't do Sport Pilot check rides. The one that does just said "Sorry I can't help you with a Zenith" so I'm not quite sure what that means but he hasn't responded to follow up questions. My question for the collective wisdom of the group is: anybody know of, or have worked with, a DPE in the Pacific North West that will give check rides in a Zenith? Thanks!

Have you tried searching using this FAA app? https://designee.faa.gov/#/designeeLocator ;
I entered Washington state and found four, but you can try surrounding PNW states as well.
