Thanks Andrew, I expect to receive the kit some time in October & will probably have plenty of questions once I get started.

    Thanks Andrew,
Your slats look great, hope the build goes smoothly for you.
I've been doing a good bit of flying this Summer, just passed 500 flights the other day, about 200 hours. Unfortunately, I think I've found cracks in the two forward horizontal stabiliser mounting brackets. A friend of mine is coming over in the morning with some dye penetrant so we can check for sure. You might want to give extra attention to these to make sure they line up exactly. Mine are made from 0.040 aluminium, I'm just going on to the Zenithair website now to look up this issue, I think they may have increased the thickness of the brackets in later kits. Best of luck. Rgds. Shay.

    Andrew,
Thanks for your kind offer, but I ordered the parts from ZAC yesterday. I also ordered the new VG set for the elevator, I don't really need them, but thought I my try them out anyway.
By the way, there was a bulletin from ZAC about reinforcing the seat belt attachment for the lap strap at the tunnel. I did it last year and it was very awkward to do as a retrofit. Just thought I'd mention it just in case you had missed it.
    Regards,
    Shay.
