Building and Flying Info / Your Profession / Other Background Info
I'm a software/hardware computer guy. My old builders log with pictures is available at http://www.lancegingell.com
Before building the Zodiac, I had no prior experience.
Built an RV7A next, and that is flying now.
Does it hold your plane nice and level without wandering around very much? Which size servo's did you use? I've saw a posting where someone had mentioned using the midsized servo for the roll axis instead of the small one.
I use the smallest servos, the SV32's for both pitch and roll. Roll has slipped a little in turbulence, even with the toruqe set to 100%, but usually if it is that bad, it like to be flying it myself. I have hingless ailerons.
If you don't have it configured properly, or the airplane trimmed correctly it can wander, just like the other AP's.
Lance, I didn't see that in the Drawings, replacing with .063, mine is .040. I'll have to call ZAC in the morning.
