Don: Welcome to zenith.aero (beta version) as a charter member! Please feel free to add photos, videos, and reports on building and flying your Zodiac.
Happy holidays!
Don: Congratulations on the completion of your project! There's a nice write up about your project in the February issue of EAA Sport Pilot magazine.
Enjoy!
You and I have exchanged a couple of notes over the years, more recently upon completion of your project.
I have referenced your web site as the pictures are of great quality and always help me visualize the next step - and avoid errors, big and small. I am finally past your last recorded step. (centre wing assembly), and have noticed that the HD web sites are mostly gone, with a few honorable exceptions.
So, I decided to gather as much information on the HD as I can, for myself and the other 2 or 3 HD(S) builders out there :-)
I would like to know if you kept recording your project evolution, and if so, if you would be willing to share the pictures.
You can contact me at carlossa52 (at) gmail dot com.

CH601-HD, plans
10 years and still building...!
Yes, I am still interested on those pictures: there aren't a whole lot of HD(S) web sites left, and they do come in handy. Not to mention that your pictures are the highest resolution I've seen around.
And a question: are you using LED for landing/taxi lights? If so, what brand / model? Are you happy with it?
Thanks, Don, downloading now (36 minutes estimated).
I checked AS&S, and the number of (LED landing light) options has increased significantly - take a look:

By the time I am ready to buy them, they'll be dirt cheap!! :-)
