Matt, I see you are online with Zenith.aero right now. I am guessing you are watching the latest ZAC update like I am. The right wing is almost de-riveted.
sent one before but hello again. not flying yet but am ready the 2 year thing come up and trying to get that out of the way now.
bianieal flight revew.
I like my polished finish. I did not polish the bottom, only the top. I have about 75% of the disassembly complete now and have spent 17 hours doing it. I figure 25 hours, tops for all disassembly. Total labor should run around 100 hours.
If and when I do the upgrade, my plan is to combine the wirs that have to be cut into one or two Molex connectors. I think that would be the least annoying way to deal with the situation. Even a common shield ground could be dedicated to one of the pins in the connector.
Matt, I've been meaning to thank you for the tool tips, etc. you've posted. I've added your suggestions to my wish list, but I had to make do with what I had. A month ago I didn't own a riveting hammer and like most tools, it's about the accessories.
I only dinged one hole on the wing spar, so I'm happy. I expect much better results on the next wing.
