Also part time professor for University of Utah with an appointment in both ME and Computer Science. Background in design and automated manufacturing.

I have some flying experience in both power and sail planes but have not soloed yet--will be working on that.

I have considerable manufacturing experience especailly with CNC machining but not with sheel metal--so I am learning a new trade.

I have been the advisor for SAE student projects at the University of Utah and have experience designing ground vehicles and drivetrains.

    First, Thank you for taking the time to do a spreadsheet on the piston speed associated with various engines we are considering for the CH750. That was interesting information. I still have not decided on an engine yet. While at Sun and Fun, I looked at the Honda Fit engine that Jan Eggenfelter is developing. It looked great. there was some noticable play in the gearbox. I then realized there was no oil dip stick. I asked Jan how are we to check the oil and he said you look at the bottom of the airplane. If there is no oil there then you are OK. I hope he will work out the dipstick thing. Checking the oil before flight in too important. I am interested in your engine selection if you have done so.
