    Hi Ralph,

Dave and I pretty much finished the tail pieces, and have been working on both wings. We have the left wing about ready for the top skin, and we're just fitting the right wing top skin. We ;got the fuel tank installed in the left wing, and we got some nav/strobe lights from Aircraft Spruce--Aeroflash, or something like that. I'm going north for a week, then I'll be back down in Arizona to putz around on the wings some more. About time for me to move north for the summer (western Washington), and I don't know if we'll haul parts north, or just leave it all until the end of the summer.

Thanks for your note, and report on progress.

    Cheers,

    Dan

    Ralph,

I'm at the same point you are in the process and am wondering when you deburred and riveted the spars and ribs? I'm at the point of putting on the Horizontal Stabilizer skin and saw no instructions in the manual for the above. It looks like, in the manual, that you put the skin on the top while the ribs and spars are still clecoed? Also, the instruction manual picture of the Tip Rib attachment to the L angle is different than my kit pieces? It is unclear how you align the Tip Ribs?

    Ralph,

I just saw your comment, thanks. Yes, I'm past that point in the tip rib attaching scheme and think I have an idea of what I'm going to do. I just finished deburring yesterday and really have to find a better tool than the drill bit idea. Tonight, I put on some corrosion proofing because I had scratched the inside skin with the file, so I wanted to protect myself. Tomorrow or Monday, I'll cleco it all back together and start riveting!

    Ralph,

I used the half inch drill, but it didn't always do the trick. I find that sometimes one thing works and sometimes another?

    Ralph,
I bought a Shaviv deburring tool from Aircraft Spruce and it came today. Looks like it may be a good tool? I tried it on some scrap and it was pretty easy to use and did a nice job.

Hi Ralph, saw you on the DVD I got from HomebuiltHELP. I am living in Ionia Michigan (almost your neighbor). My wife and I were also at Sun-N-Fun this year and we could have met. This coming weekend I will collect my CH750 kit at the factory and start building soon. Could I have a look at your plane? I think it would be very interesting and helpful to me.
Best regards, Jan van 't Schip (just moved in from the Netherlands)

Hi Ralph, I have vacation this week, because my children are over from the Netherlands. Thursday night my son and I will ride to Zenith, to pick up my kit.
I have time today-Thursday all day. Otherwise another day in the evening, or in the weekend. Please let me know what is convenient for you.
    Regards, Jan
