    I spent two months in Brazil a couple years ago...loved it. At the time, I thought it would be a good place to retire. I was in Italy for two weeks last June.

    I guess you must have been surprised when you heard the scratching of the rudder on the ground. Lucky you didn't rip it off of break the rudder horn.

    Were you trying  a short short take-off or just rotated to steeply.
