Building and Flying Info / Your Profession / Other Background Info
i have built 9 planes and restored 3 i am now retired with over 2000 hrs in the air. i love building and flying and this is the best plane i have ever built. it turned out better then i had expected.
Your cancer story could not have come at a better time. My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer 2 weeks ago. She read your story and was lifted. Mom helped dad and I build my 601 over the last 10 years and her and dad fight over who is going to fly with me. I said do you want me to order a other 601 and we can start on another. We laughed and said maybe. CH750 this time. She's doing the surgery this week then chemo.
Your plane is spectacular! Congratulations and good luck. We loved the part about rubbing the doctors nose in it. Post pictures and video of first flight when you get it. We will be watching and cheering!
Ron, Congratulations on completing your plane and a special congratulations on being a cancer survivor! My wife has a friend who has recently been diagnosed with the same prognosis you received and she was wondering if it would be possible to send you an email. She was encouraged by reading your story and is also hopeful of becoming a survivor.
Your plane looks great and the seats are fantastic - may even try to do that myself!
Very nice plane indeed and perfect dead stick landing !
I have a question regarding your GPS. It is an Airmap 2000c as I have one too.
How do you get it updated with maps and airport data now ? Or do you ?
Lowrence stop supporting this model a long time ago and I can't find a software that will upload the new infos anymore ? I love the display and ease of use of my Airmap2000c but not having current data is a drag....
