How long have you been building?
  • Jeffrey Moser

I am building a 601 HDS but my project is on hold for now. I have been building a house on the Mishawaka Pilots Club for the past 6 or 7 years. I plan on getting back to building my plane in the spring.

I'm glad you stood up and spoke up. I might have done so earlier myself, but today was the first day I noticed the Corvair forum. Keep up the good work.

Hi Larry, Sorry, I don't know Polly and Wade. Our project is on hold right now and we probably wont' resume for several years. My wife and I were student pilots when we started the project, but due to medical problems, I had to suspend my lessons. She did the same. We don't expect to resume until we move back home to Arizona.

Larry, I remember you telling in a e-mail that you had your wings completed. I'm thinking about converting to the fiberglass wingtips for a cleaner look. Could you related to me how much of a problem it was to fit the fiberglass wing tips. Thanks, Larry
  • Larry Edson

Thanks Larry! The fiberglass wingtip certainly looks a lot cleaner then the combination fiberglass and metal that mine has.
so the conversion to all fiberglass is going on the "To-Do" list.

    Larry,

Glad to see you are getting close.  You are about at the point when it really kicked in for me that I might just actually finish this thing.  This is also about where you have pretty much exhausted all of the written build instructions and are on your own to complete your creation.  The light is surely at the end of the tunnel.   Keep up the good work!
