Jay: There's a great piece about your project in the February 2009 issue of EAA Sport Pilot magazine. Congratulations!

Do we have enough to maybe set up a time for all DFW user to chat
  • Floyd E. Gantt

II think it would be a great if we could get a group of DFW user to chat or even meet somewhere for coffee and chat session.

jay, looking forward to meeting you and your 601 at hicks
  • Eddie Poteet

jay, if july 18 is still on. Where do we meet at hicks?
  • Ken Pavlou

No not yet, I'm still subsonic. I think I have to fiddle with the prop pitch a little. ;)

    Hi Jay,

I heard through the grapevine that your Lil Bruiser had an off-field landing with another pilot at the helm. Is he okay and how did the plane fare?

Goods news then. What caused the off-field landing?

    Jay,

Thanks for the quick reply. Sorry to hear about the accident.

The photos show your cowling to look much like the Zenvair one. Is yours Corvair conversion powered?

Would like to talk some time, but my urgent intent is to check my physical fit in the 601 cockpit. I'm 6'3, 195 lbs and wear a size 13 shoe. I don't fit well in everything. Specificially I need to know if I need to change to the 650 canopy or make other mods to be confortable in the cockpit.
