The tracking system uses software I wrote in Visual Basic (version6). Software runs in the airplane on a tablet PC which I have built into the panel. The tablet gets information from the Dynon D180 and the GPS and sends this data to a server at my office. The tablet has a cell-modem connected to an antenna on the bottom of the plane. On the server is more code I wrote to receive and store the data. The server has a website which can show a visitor a map. The map shows the plane's location, track and route and other data.
That's amazing, I am very impressed. Is this something you'd be willing to share? I have dabbled a bit with VB6 but am far from being able to write my own code.
I have an MGL Enigma with GPS and a Tablet PC also with GPS and will connect my cell phone to the tablet for internet access. I had though about an external antenna but haven't reached that point yet.

I don’t know of any other system like this.
