I got sidetracked on my ch750 and bought a ch701 that was about 80% complete, less firewall forward and instrumentation. It was a tailwheel conversion but I'm converting it back to nosewheel and have a Viking engine coming next month. The 750 is the one to build, though. The only reasons i'm on the 701 was it was an unbeatable deal price-wise and a huge jumpstart. I hope to be flying later this year.
Although the Viking @ 110hp is a little stout for the 701 my plan is to get it flying and then resume work on the 750, then put the Viking on the 750 and either re-power or sell the 701 airframe.
i'd be delighted to send you pictures of the 701 and help any way I can.
It is going well although I have not touched anything since August. I am at the end of getting my Masters degree and school is taking up most of my time. Mid December, I will be back getting a lot of progress done. Email me at steeleshark2@hotmail.com
