Gavin... I noiticed you were flying with a 582. What was your experience? What was the empty weight of your 701 in that configuration and what did you consider your max. weight. Fuel capacity? How was the performance of the 582 with two up? Climb rate at max gross? Max speed. Which prop? I am about done with my 1987 vintage 701 airframe (beefed up a little with the suggested mods) with the 582 (Rotax Rick OH) and a 36X68 wooden prop. It would be helpful to know the performance specs before I fly.
