    Hi Buster,

    I had the same issue regarding the price of those little bushings. I purchased the following:

    1/4" OD x 0.028" Wall x 0.194" ID Stainless Round Tube 316 Seamless USD$ 4.50

    I bought it at Online Metals, however I presume you have a metal supplier down under that will have similar tubing.

    I chucked the tube in my drill and used a small tubing cutter that I held in my hand, so I could regulate how much force was needed and made about 10 of the bushing and I still have around 10" of that tubing.
