    Hi Travis,

    Just noticed your name in the members list. I had Griggs ancestors in the early 1700s on the east coast. I suppose if you go back far enough we are all related.

    Hi Travis,

    I was born in Northwest Iowa, Emmitsburg to be exact. We had relatives in Connecticut in the 1600s, Pennsylvania in the 1800s.

    My great grandpa Edgar Wilson Griggs was born in Freeport Illinois In 1860 and died in Emmittsburg Iowa in 1949. My grandpa and my dad stayed in Emmitsburg until in the 1950s.

    Hey Travis,

    Once the controls are done you can sit in the cockpit and make engine noises.

    I am down to labeling switches, placards and paperwork. I plan to move it to an airport in the spring and put it together for the last time. Just finished painting a couple weeks ago.

    Engine has run 40 minutes.
