I worked as a machinist / engineer assistant for 22 years. I opened my own machine shop in 2000 - present. I'm also currently a community college instructor (11 years in April 2012) for the Louisiana Community and Technical College System. I built my 701 from plans; 2004 - 2009. First flight July 2009. The plane has a 633 lb empty weight with a Rotax 912 ULS sporting a 70" 3 blade Warp Drive prop.

    Christ,

Are you still okay with your engine mount mod? I am just curious.

Chris, thanks for the reply. The wife and I stayed at oak alley last week and I thought about you being only an hour away from me, wanted to holler and say hello. I was looking around the sky for a 701... I like your plane and photos from the air...

Chris:  Found a comment you had made on a autopilot servo.   I see you have a 701, I have  a 750 and have been looking for info on adding 3 axis autopilot to my plane(MGL explorer)

Do you know of anyone with 3 axis on a 750?
