Thanks Tim. those photos were when I was building a 701. I got rid of that project a while back and recently bought the plans to the 750 which I also intend to scratch build. I like the 750 because of more engine options. I have a guy making me a 10 foot metal brake now and hope to get started in a few months after we move to a bigger place.
Your 701 looks fantastic!! Anyone can build from a kit but it is much more satisfying to scratch build. Thanks for the comments.
My buddy Bob Stuarts (he did the welding on my ski axle supports) plans built CH701 passed his MDRA inspection last week. It took him 14 ys to complete the project.
