Retired Military pilot 6000hrs T38/B52. Presently working as electrical engineering supervisor for major chemical company. Completed 650 rudder and working on rest of tail kit.
I went to pilot training at Williams AFB, AZ and was in class 76-07, we graduated in March of 1976. I then went to KC-135s at Fairchild AFB, and flew T-38s in the ACE program there, and then went on to the E-3 AWACS to finish out 10 years. I then got out and went to work for Alaska Airlines in Seattle and retired last year after 29 years with them. I continued to fly KC-135s in the Air Force Reserve and retired in 1994.
I painted it myself first and looked pretty sad, blue similar to the red I have now. I ended up with some cash so found a friend of a friend and WOW what a difference. I am actually kind of proud of it now.
Tow bar, I bent up some 1/2 " conduit, riveted some flat pieces to it to hold it together and made some holes along the sides to slip over the axle nuts. Not pretty but works sort of.

Did you get this resolved? If not, can you send me a screen-shot of what you are getting?
