    Yes, i am building a 601- Wings mostly complete- need to do upgrade on wing spars yet.

    Fuselage mostly complete- now working on my center console with throttle quadrant-next step will be rudder pedals and brakes.  I will be using corvair 2850cc -picked up short block from WW -has Dan's new crank and 5th bearing installed.

    Yes I do get those figures but it's been a lot of work ther is a definite step in flight if you dont get the trim right you won't get the performance.

    1 up I get roc of over 1000 ft per min 2 up I only get around 500ft per min
