With respect to your idea of using pushrods, this will NOT help the flutter issue. Cables by their very nature add some stiffness and damping to the control system. Pushrods only shift the loads to your hands without adding any appreciable stiffness, only some inertia. Planes with pushrods need to have balanced ailerons unless some other stiffening mechanism is used besides your arm!
