Hello, The Corvair installation does present some challenges on a 701. If you've read William Wynnes info on his website it gives some good advice. My project is coming along well but not yet flying. My engine ran at CC20 on Williams test stand with no issues. I had to fabricate my own intake to move the MA3SPA forward of the nose strut enough. It was time consuming but turned out well. I've worked on the engine baffles ,seals and cowling over this cold winter in my heated garage. I bought a PA11 fiberglass nose cowl from Aircraft Spruce and narrowed it to fit. There are not a lot of off the shelf parts available for this installation as the 601 and 750 have been more popular.

I would be happy to show it to you. I'd also like to check out your project. If you haven't already I would strongly suggest attending a Corvair College.
